Describe the Resource:
This resource includes pictures that can be used to visualise different parts of the story. They all will come together to form a storyboard.
1) To get students actively involved, the different pictures and words that go with them can be given out within small groups
2) The groups of students should see if they can link the pictures to anything from their own knowledge and try to figure out how it may relate to a story of a Prophet
3) Bring the groups together again and ask one student from each group to give their group idea
4) In this way, the teacher can unfold the full story in detail
Pictures include:
-Map of where Iram is located
-Nuh and the flood ( to set the time of the story )
-Picture of a giant
-People mocking
-Worshipping idols rather than Allah
-Droughts destroyed their land
-Strong winds and storm lasting 7 nights and 8 days
