Describe the Resource:
Print out and read the following resource as a whole class activity. (Includes the verses and translation of Suratul Kahf which are in reference to the story of Nabi Musa a.s and Khidr).
Upon completion of this, you may have a whole class discussion on the lessons and morals we can take from this story.
In addition to the above, the following relevant ahadith, verses and quotes may be used:
Moral 1- “I don’t know is half of knowledge.”
Moral 2- “Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.”
Moral 3- “A good friend and a bad friend are like a perfume seller and a blacksmith…”
Moral 4- “One Faqih is stronger against shaytaan than 1000 worshippers.”
Moral 5- “Knowledge from which no benefit is derived is like a treasure out of which nothing is spent in the cause of God.”
