Describe the Resource:
An activity for the year 4 najasah lesson.
Teachers should draw a bubble diagram on the board containing students’ suggestions of examples of najasah.
The class then collectively go through each one, discussing it and erasing the incorrect suggestions.
Students copy the ones that are correct on the answer worksheet provided.
Teachers then use the worksheet comprising of drawings that illustrate the 7 examples of najasah from the textbook. Each example is shown on three pieces of paper (3 different sized stains), hence there are 21 boxes in the answer worksheet.
Students pair up and measure each najasah stain using a 2p coin or the trace of a 2p coin (there is space for this on the answer worksheet).
They tick the boxes in the table when the najasah is bigger or the same size as a 2p coin.
