When should I use the activity in my Islamic Studies Class? Main Activity in class
Time Resource will take: 20-30 minutes
Describe the Resource:
After explaining the story of Yunus (as) to students, students will discuss the lessons learnt in groups.
After which they should be assigned half an hour to write a letter to a friend who is going through a difficulty and they are the advisor.
Most students used the lessons learnt for the majority of their letters. Higher level students used the lessons learnt, as well as the story to reinforce certain points, and mentioned the dua of Yunus (as) to Allah ﷻ and how it may help their friend in their time of difficulty.
