When should I use the activity in my Islamic Studies Class? Main Activity in class
Time Resource will take: 30 minutes
Describe the Resource:
At the end of this project students will have a “how to do wudu’ guide, which outlines the order or acts and the rulings of each act.
Each student is handed three sheets:
Sheet 1 – Fill in the blanks. Then cut out
Sheet 2 – Cut the sheet in half and stick the two edges together. Arrange the steps from sheet 1 in order
Sheet 3 – Assign each step its appropriate ruling.
Higher level students wllll be able to add distinctions between minor details in regards to the sunnah and fardh acts etc. Furthermore, they should be able to discuss the obligation of fard acts, the rulings in regards to doing the sunnah and makruh and why explain why someone should stive to do the full wudu on a daily basis.
